A famous Shakti Peetha of Hinduism, Naini Devi Temple is a sacred place of great devotion in Nainital. Devi Naini Devi Naini Devi is the founder of the temple and is situated at the northern end of the famous Nainital Lake. The goddess is represented by her two eyes in this holy temple. Devotees from far and wide come here to seek the blessings of Mother Naina Devi.The temple is situated atop Naina hill near Naini lake, and attracts thousands of devotees every year. There are several shops near the Naina Devi temple from where one can buy prasad and puja items.
Nainital Lake

The Zoo
The Nainital Zoo is a high altitude zoo located at a height of 2,100 meters or 6900 feet above sea level on the Lion’s Blackjack Hill. The zoo is spread over 4.6 hectares or 11 acres of green area. It was established in 1984 and opened to visitors in the year 1995. The zoo is officially called Pt. Was named as. Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude Zoo in 2002. The zoo is one of the three high altitude zoos in India, the other two being in Sikkim and Darjeeling.One of the popular sightseers in Nainital, the zoo offers its visitors an extraordinary landscape, which lies between the central Himalayas and the Shivalik mountain range.
Snow View Point
Snow View Point does justice to its name and offers majestic views of these hills, making it one of the most scenic spots in Nainital. Situated at an altitude of 2,270 meters, this destination forms the gateway to the snowy valleys and mountains of the Great Himalayas. If you look on the other side, you will get a helicopter view of Nainital city and Naini lake.If you reach the snow view point from the ropeway, the excitement increases manifold, seeing the natural beauty. Aerial Ropeway
Aerial ropeway is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Nainital. With hundreds of tourists flying each day, the Hawaii Ropeway, one of the popular places to visit in Nainital, takes people from Mallital to Snow View Point. The aerial ropeway is built in collaboration with Swiss technology with a state-of-the-art position and view. The ropeway has to climb both uphill and downhill climbs, giving travelers an excellent panoramic view of the surroundings.
St. Georges Church
Beautiful Neo-Gothic architecture, tall cedar and cedar trees, celestial atmosphere, stained glass windows and the magnificent yet positive aura of the cemetery, these are essential and prominent trademarks of St. John in Wilderness Church, Nainital. Being one of the oldest buildings, this church is highly frequented by architects to understand Neo-Gothic architecture. Behind the church is a cemetery, dedicated to those who lost their lives in the 1880 fatal landslide. A brass memorial has been erected within the premises of the church, which bears his name.
Horse Riding
